Free Reverse Cell Phone Lookup - Help to Catch Cheaters With a Catch

A free reverse cell phone lookup is one of the most searched for things online these days. This is because being able to trace a cell number back to its owner would clear up a lot of questions in people's minds regarding not only fidelity, but who could be on the other end of that annoying call.

The general public hopes that being able to do this type of investigation on their own they are able to ascertain who owns the number, their address, service provider, and possibly even directions to their home. While all of this information is available in the report you would get from the cell phone directory, and there is a little bit of a catch. So, what's the catch?

Well, the catch is that it's not free. I don't care how many articles you've read, advertisements you seen, or e-mails you have received that have told you that the service is free, it's not. There seems to be a lot of bad information and deceptive advertising happening when it comes to this particular subject. Basically, you are brought to a site who claims to give this type of data to you for nothing, asked to fill out all the proper forms, and then when you are presented with the fact that they have the report prepared you are asked to pay. If you don't pay, you don't get the report, it's that simple.

The companies that are doing this are banking on the fact that they have you emotionally sold enough that you will rip your credit card out at the last minute and go through with the purchase even though you believed it to be free. In my opinion, this is the worst kind of advertising out there. What's even more frustrating is the fact that people need this information so badly that they are being duped.

There certainly are ways to find out who owns a particular phone number however, you need to understand up front going in that there will be a charge for the information. Not talking about hundreds of dollars or thousand dollars were talking about the equivalent of a lunch at a fast food restaurant. Sure, it's not a lot of money but, it just makes you feel tricked when you're not told about it up front.

When deciding which reverse cell phone directory to use, make sure to use the one that at the very least offers a free search feature upfront. This will allow you to do an initial query of their database to find out whether or not they even have information about the number that you are investigating. This could potentially save you a ton of time and aggravation as well is make your experience 100% better.
